Harnessing Romania's potential in terms of the production, processing and marketing of agri-food products represents a topic of major interest for the academic community, which is also the case of the private sector. In the spirit of this statement, the authors mention that this material was elaborated based on the results of Research Project no. 643 from 7 May 2020, concluded between the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and REWE Romania. The fruitful collaboration between the authors of this material and the REWE represents the foundation of the elaboration of this study concerning the Romanian balance of trade with agri-food products in the 2015-2020 period, from multiple perspectives: by reporting to the evolution and trends regarding the volume and structure of the foreign trade, by referring to exports-imports-national production correlations, and, finally, by referring to specific methods and techniques of promotion and stimulation of Romanian agri-food products export.
